I have no idea why am i blogging now when im suppose to be getting dress and leaving for school. I'm already 1 min late. Oh well, I guess its the onus of exams approaching. And Im feeling pretty emo about it. Don't know why, can't seem to know why. Ok. Going off. Will solve the mystery when I get back.

I am so bored that i went ahead to install leopard on my laptop. So right now, my laptop is able to dual boot both Vista and Leopard. Its pretty neat. Except for some missing functions in leopard. Like the lack of wireless access since there is no compatible drivers for intel wireless card yet. Im hoping for a fix soon. If not, my leopard will end up a vase, sitting there looking pretty... If i even decide to take it out.

ok so that was how the installation screen looks like. After going through a few processes like formatting drives and what-nots, the installation is finally done.


This is the booting up process. Unlike Vista which have a running bar, Mac had it simpler. Though brighter than Vista. I still like the Vista loading screen though. It feels more like its starting rather than hanging. Had really some bad experience with the revolving circle.



And the aftermath of all that. Leopard on my laptop! Nice. Now i can show off to other people about my great achievment. Although im quite incline to triple boot it with an additional Linux, but my laptop seems to be running out of space. So i guess im going to stick with dual boot. For now.

Anyone out there that is interested in how to dual boot can always contact me. If you know who i am that is.

It seemed to be pretty much forever since i last blogged. I guess i must have forgotten about it. Ha.

Same old shit in school. Rushing out more projects than i ever did. Think its time to hit up the stress gear. Otherwise, things are going pretty ambigiously well.

With the recent financial world tumoil, i guess life now have been pretty much more exciting. Of course laughing off about Lehman demise may seem to be totally unethical.. but im not involve. So i don't really care. I guess people who invested in them should be worried. And people who invested in people that invested in them. Basically, digital money comes 1 round and bite you back in the ass.

Thinking about what im going to do in the future. Probably going to settle for a CPA first. Everything else comes later. Or i can join a banking firm *gasp*. I guess Morgan or Goldman would be pretty fine. They seem to be doing well under all this financial crisis.

Just some last words. If you got the cash, bank in AIG now. Its dirt cheap, and its bound to rise! Its just too big to fall. Share playing for this year is a big no no. If desperate, play forex instead. And finally, please don't pull out from AIA if you have one. Its making matter worse.

Ok fine, so that is only 2 photos. But hey, better than nothing. Did not bother to take more as my handphone cannot do proper night shots. Maybe some photoshop might lighten things up.

Anyway, things are pretty mundane for me. Got my time table 5 days week as i did not bother to plan but just follow my friend. Transport is going to be bad, so i am going to forsee ponning to be very common from now on. And i finally got my remaining $800! No news from bursary which means that im out. So sad.

I think its pretty weird that people are unable to believe that God exist that they just can't prove that he does with empirical evidence. There are so many unexplainable things that empirical evidence fails to support and yet people are turning a blind eye. Or maybe blind eyes. The understanding of the world would give us some hint that a higher order is in existence. I mean, what are the chances of us having a sun of the correct type, plus at the correct distance from it so as to be in the habital zone, plus the existence of Jupiter to prevent armeggadon on earth, plus the fact that out of the millions species that habited this planet, we are the only 'intelligent creature'? Mind boogling...

And the fact that we haven't wipe each other out, thanks to this 'moral justification' that we all have inside of us. Where do we get this in the first place? Can science prove the existence of moral justification? Can it be reproduce in animals? Maybe our technology is not advance enough... But really, the truth is staring right in your face, stop pretending that it doesn't matter, because in all reality, it really does.

After months of waiting, decisions and anticipating. The good had finally arrived! Due to the imminent of exams being very close and me suffering from a headache from studying too much, the pictures shall speak about themselves!

oh dear.. everything just seem to be piling up. and i got no time! no time!!.. more like no determination to get down to study.

Well, i was on the bus. And you know, buses usually have this kind of signboard that encourages people to give up seats for the needy.


And of course. There is nothing wrong with giving up seats to 'those who really need it'. But then again. Who are those that really need it?

And of course, the signs are kind enough to provide examples with simple illustration. You get pregnant woman with baby, handicap people, old folks and the like. But then, it seems that this particular signboard decided to add a new group of people to its list of needys.




If you can make out the fuzzy word. No you are NOT dreaming. And yes, people carrying laptops are now considered needy! More reason to bring your laptop out for a walk! Or more like for a bus ride. And i wonder what would we get next? Nokia handphones? Heh..

School had started for quite some time. And its pretty much worse than the previous semester. Reason being, I think i overloaded myself with too much modules. 3 cores and 2 electives. Although i feel that everyone else is somewhat doing the same.

The cores are getting crazy. Project intense crazy. Articles reading crazy. And 1 of the core required me to actually critic an art piece. That's way too lame. Im in business for goodness sake. And my electives ain't walk in a park either. But they are fun and interesting. French is tough to learn. With all the strange form of writings for 1 word. And astronomy is getting quite over the top literally. Too much physic jumbled up together. But i guess things are going to get better. Once i decided to get less lazy and actually start studying.

Otherwise, life has been pretty much mundane. If not for a few emotions roller coasters which come few in between. Feeling sick in school is no joke. 1 side of the nose blocked, the other side dripping. Really just feel like chopping the nose off. Although i know that will never solve any problem but the idea is there.

Think i have to go for some reservist ops manning during the period of Feb. Which is a total waste of time. Seems that this time its more or less confirm, since my friend has already been appointed as 2ic and is sending everyone smses.

Chinese New Year is getting close. But somehow the feeling is still not there. Maybe studies been too hectic. Or maybe i have not even started to shop for clothes yet. And time is running short.

After 6 irritating emails, i decided to just set up a facebook account so people can stop bugging me to join. So if you have an account, try not to add me.. Unless your really desperate to increase your numbers then i may just help you. Depends on how 'friend' are you to me.

Watched a couple of movies. Alien Vs Predator 2 was... Weird. Not logical because we are unable to understand what the predator is doing. Only through guess work. And also what the alien is doing. The fight between them was pretty cliche. In the end, both impaled each other. And end up dying by a nuclear warhead. Its pretty typical action flick. Although i must agree, the horror and shock part was but a tiny bit as compared to the original aliens film. Maybe i should download them and watch for some classic action.

NTU is damn screwed up. Listing down 5 electives, they had to give me 0. This is really really stupid. Can't they just give me 1 elective? At least give me my first choice... NTU is so damn irritating. NTU sucks.

A year went by and a new one is here. No resolutions yet again as they serve more to be painful reminders of what you have not done rather than happy jubilation of what you have accomplished. Most of the time anyway. Doesn't feel like a new year anyway. Maybe new school doesn't start at a brand new year now. But i guess, things are just going to be the same. Not much changes.
