Been quite a interesting week so far. School is now running full steam ahead. Though im somewhat lost in the smoke. But im not too worried for there are tonnes of people in the same situation as me. Presentations is getting quite pain in the ass. Every course has presentation. If not for my experiences in public speaking, it may have been a daunting task to drone in front of a class. Luckily for me, my project groups mates are bunch of rubbish and nonsensical people. To the extend that they rather do group work online than together for the simple fact that work would not be done, and time would be spent on suaning each other.

Hall so far had been pretty bland for me. Maybe i didn't really join most of the hall activities. Played scrabble and chinese chess as part of inter block recreational games. Though i would very much want to be in a sport team just for the heck of it. Had 9-5 last friday. Where we were whisked off to Geylang for some night supper. But its not as appealing as it initially sounded cause it turned out to be Shi Zi Lu Kou and we end up eating lame stuff like Fun Choy where we could have just settled for Tian Ji Zhou. And the last station was at settler's cafe in katong where we brought the house down with all the games. Interesting night.

So far i had signed up for breakdancing as my ECA. Attended first lesson. But had to leave early due to 9-5. Nonetheless, it was a pretty good experience, to be learning under a real instructor and not some random guy that does better breakdancing than you. Might continue and maybe hope to get a post in there. If not i have to look elsewhere already. And here is their website! http://clubs.ntu.edu.sg/breakdancing/index.php

Ok another year has passed for me. So im now officially 21 years old. Not that it really matters much, i have never been a birthday person. Nevertheless, I would still want to thank all those who have wished me birthday wishes.

So far i only got 2 present. Not that i count presents. But then again using the phrase 'so far' seem to be a bit too loose, knowing that there won't be any more presents.

The day itself was pretty mundane. And i like it. Just did the usual things like hanging out, eating dinner and watching a show. Nothing special, but the mood made it special. Seem to be in a celebratory kind of mood.

Things are really getting heated up in university. Have catching up to do already. And im now learning how to dabble with stocks. So far everything have been rising, its just the matter of much it has risen as compared to others. And of course like all things else, being rich counts, in this case, towards your grades.

Projects are projected to be completed soon i hope. Don't really have much high hope that i can do well in the first semester as everything is still pretty havoc to me. And not excluding the fact that now i have a PS2 and a TV in my room... And i guess i can just party by myself all night long...

University life have pretty much started for me. Still trying to get myself adjusted to all the new stuffs that i need to handle. From printing of notes, finding tutorial rooms, getting people to eat meals with, signing up for ECA and of course settling myself in the new job. Sounds busy but im actually quite free. Lessons ends 12 30 for me on most days except on Tuesday which ends on 16 30 instead.

Made tonnes of new friends. That is not an understatement. Tried out my first tutorial. And i must say Im super lost. All the technical terms were not explained properly so I just smoked my way through.

Feeling bit under the weather. And I still have to go find Crystal later to settle the video editing procedure. But I guess I collect all the textbooks just as well.

And I gotten my laptop. Its Fugitsu S series. So far its been quite good. The size is not too small nor too big. 13" just nice for my needs. And its not too heavy either. Just a bit over 2kg. Shall see how well it can last. Anyway my Auntie offered to pay this for me, so that quite a cost saver on my part.

And Victor seems to be my part time room mate. Considering that he is enjoying a 4 day week, having a day off on Wednesday and this would mean that he would leave for home on Tuesday and only be back on Thursday morning. And life is quite boring in Hall. Nothing much to do.

Yet.

Its been an extremely long while since I've posted. But then again things have been pretty hectic and exciting all the same.

After the short stint in the campus crusade camp, i proceeded to join my hall camp. And it was jam packed with action. Although i noticed that its usually packed with flour and eggs and water. The games are much pretty similar. Mostly involve you ending up either wet, or walking cake dough. But due to the fact that i have a sprained ankle on Sunday, i have the privilege to stand around and watch my OG group getting creamed. It was hilarious mostly on my part. But i guess the washing up was horrible to them. Especially them girls with extremely long hairs.

The whole thing was brought to a bang at Bikini Bar in Sentosa. Did not do much dancing. Mostly just while time away with my OG chit chatting and whats not. And of course, the most memorable part of the camp is the fright night. Not because i can hold some girl's hand and maybe hope that she would scream and jump on me for comfort, but the people had really put in a lot of efforts into creating costumes and art pieces. The one that i really liked was the dismembered head in the toilet bowl with bulging eye. I was so impressed by it that i actually took my partner to take a look at it. It was purely for sharing and appreciating an art piece, not meant to scare her.

And after the hall camp it was finally back to school. Had NBS amazing tour on monday. Where they took us to the other end of the school to go find this book shop and back to the auditorium. And of course that night we had our hall bash. It was sardined with people. Taking food from the buffet table required war plans on our part to ensure that the whole OG had enough to eat. After that we did not stay for the actually dancing and drinking but ended up outside and chit chatting again. And finally found ourselves in the vicinity of City Harvest Church eating supper 3 hours after our dinner. I could only stuff myself with a can of Coke light while some actually stomached a Zi Cha.

And today was the first lesson. After 2 years of break it certainly seem exciting. But 6 hrs straight of lesson just somehow made the excitement goes away and i was drooping my head over the lecture table. And before i know it, its over. I guess some things just do not change. And of course the most hilarious part is 10 of us went to the wrong room and the teacher actually blur blur said that we are in the correct group. After 1 hour of foundling around, we were chased off the place to find the correct room. Deadly embarrassing but i could not care more about it.

Ate dinner with a mix of friends. More like butterfly effect. I only intend to meet 1, but ended up meeting the other 2 friends on the way, so i just get them all together for a dinner. Apparently getting meal mates is quite hard >_<. But bumping into them is so much easier. And they came my room to fool around. I complete my Casino Royale and went to Hall 1 to collect some stuffs from my friend. Stayed to catch up a bit since she is always so busy with whats-not. However this brought great displeasure to eh-hem... and thus i had to leave at around 1 am.

Varsity life has been pretty interesting. But i guess it takes quite a lot of time to getting used to. Am gonna get my own laptop next week. Apparently my aunt offered to pay. I shall enquire her how much is she willing to pay. If she is willing to pay more, i might as well get the 1kg toshiba lappy :)
