christmas has come and gone. nuthing much happened.
23rd was my church christmas event. tho i was sorta running it... been helping the pa system and just chilling out... the skit was was good, as they said.. maybe i can put up the video.. if there is a recording of it. then rest of the nite was the nite activity and i almost died trying to conduct games and control the crowd and attempting to drag time....
24th my baptizm day. got baptised, got the cert and wat not. and ya. nothing much to say.. apparently one of my pri sch fren was invited but she never turn up. kinda pity cuz i would like to meet with her again like after so many years. at nite went to watch ben stiller movie. a nite at the museum or something liddat. pretty interesting. i like the tiny men. its worth watching i must say. then went to jamie house to stay overnite. watched the veggie tales but i slept halfway tru... for it was like, 2 am already or something liddat.
25th slack, hang around in her house. then they got some family thing so we left, then the rest of us when to bt timah area to eat lunch, then i go home, cuz feeling tired and nuthing to do... think they went ahead for bowling or something along tat line... wasnt kneen on going.
apparently, the whole world is so addicted to ouenden.... its like they just cant get enuff of it, and i just cant seem to be able to get my hands on my nds anymore. wan zhen especially totally ps sheryl.. like no matter how much u try to get her attention, she just cant be bothered to respond to u.. oh wellus... i better complete the game soon.. haha if not its quite irritating for me to play halfway then must let them try.

alrite
came back from kukup.
hmm, we met at 8.30 sat at bugis then took the sje to msia. the queue on both end for choppin of passport are horrible. somemore need to form formation to prevent people from cutting the queue. then reached lakin and ate mac for lunch. it was breakfast for me. then took another 1 hr ride to pontian. think was playing my nds most of the journey. reached there took a cab down to kukup.
the place is really just a house. quite big. facilities pretty basic. no internet but got air con, tv, ktv system. WQ brought ps2 to plug into the second tv. they played some majong, a bit of bridge. watched blade trinity and scary movie 4. and yes, scary movie 4 is dumb. ouenden is damn fun! rather addicted to it. haha. and its really pitas to have to try 10 times to get a song rite. ate some bbq food then went to do a bit of exploring. JY got the newest gundam game and we been hammering on that tru out the nite.
next dae woke up, ate simple breakfast, and on a boat rite to mangrove swamp. nuthing much to see. just laughed at some signs which goes along something like ' you learn that when u sit in a forest and wait, something happens'. which is pretty duh. took a faster-than-slow boat to get back to entrance of the swamp then on to a fish farm. see some dying fish, clayfish and turtle. then its time to head back to the house.
it rained on the way back so me and QH ran, the rest sought shelter at some agar agar shop [ in which they buy in bulk to borrow the umbrella ]. We stone outside the house cuz it was lock and we don have the key, till the rest of the people returned. did some cleaning up and packing, more hammering on gundam and off we go for our last meal there.
went to the seafood restaurant. ate some food. not a seafood lover so im kinda stuck with veggie and toufu. and the food sux. for a restaurant that look pretty promising. then we took bus back to pontian and another one to larkin.
wanted to go back to sg, but the jam was horrible. so we decided to go city square to shop, chill and eat. walked around for 1 hr, looking for box shorts. cant seem to find any nice, but the rest seem to get something for themselves. then dinner at vivo. all for $20 we got 1 strawberry float [ and yar, it seems tat the ice cream floats and the strawberries sink. so it taste horrible ], plate of cross cut fries, 1 beef lasagne, 1 NY fish n chips, 2 bowls of soup, 1 ice cream brownie... basically, it was food madness as QH and i attempt to clear all out ringgit. i left with 20 sen.. shuld have gone to the toilet again. then after the hearty dinner we head back to sg.
walked along the WRONG side of crossway. cars zipping on the right and train bellowing smog on the left. u feel like ur gonna be roadkill soon. but managed to get bak to sg safetly. took 950 to woodlands then 966 bak to toa payoh. walked home from kim keat link, end up bloody tired, bathed, watch bleach then sleep.
its a nice getawae place. but not worth goin more than 1 time, cuz i mean, whats there left to do over there? and anything tat we been doin [majong, bridge, ps2] and like be done in SG... or heck, even my house also can....
but its cheap haha 70 in total for 2 daes... guess its cheaper than local chalet?

wat a dae of packing
basically, we spent the whole dae packing up the place, and it was hell. firstly we had to pack those stuffs into boxes and seriously, i would have given my front tooth for a atomizer gun to just atomize every item there. its logistically impossible to stuff 10 L volume of stuff inside a 8 L volume box. so there, we need to create an extra 2 L for them..
in the end, we gave up, then they tried and gave up also.. ended up getting MORE boxes to get the necessary stuffs in. so yar, we did get our extra 2 L. and lots of bombshells... just when u tot u had the stuffs nicely packed in, someone would just come in and say 'hey i got 1 pot u haven take yet' and we had to rearrange everything to stuff tat pot in... then the same fella, would come in and say ' hey i still got basins' then u feel like strangling him tho u know its not his fault, nor anyone for tat matter... but u still feel like strangling him.. u know wat i mean.
then before we leave, we had to packed everything onto the van... at first it doesn seem possible... but we done it! haha.. the last cardboard piece was sooo hard to slot in, we just decided to place it flat and slam the door down. as long as it doesn fall off, its good for us i guess...

alrite
some minor updates on wats been goin on in my life
got my NDS lite on 7 dec. Black colour. total cost 371 with set, 2 games [phoenix wright and megaman zx], and a cover. think i shelled out pretty much but im ok with it. feelin rich cuz got job now. haha. intending to get supercard soon so tat i can stop paying game and start *** them instead.
phoenix wright is cool, some judge game where ur the defendant lawyer and u had to cross examine witness testimony to bring out the lies with evidence. not much gameplay but the story line is good. megaman zx din play much, but so far i like the concept where u don have to pia tru 1 world just to clear 1 mission, now can slowly explore cuz the areas are connected and are pretty big.
8 dec went for church retreat at singapore sport school. and its so totally cool! not mentioning the 2 swimming pools, gym, lan gaming room and indoor running track, it also boost hostels tat put ntu to shame. food catered was buffet/army style, just tat 5 times better. lots of big empty space. but thats the onli onli bad thing. LOTS of big empty space... walking into school is like 500m from the bus stop, then if ur in the wrong end of school, the nearest toilet can be 300m away.
and we were joking sayin like, if someone forgot his book in class and say he left it in the hostel, the teacher would label him for his sport and decide how long he need to take. if his a sprinter then he would have 2 mins, swimming can relac a bit 4 min, marathon runner can go outside ta pao nasi lemak first. haha it was all so corny cuz the hostel is REALLY far. at least 800m i think. cranky...
but apart from all that, they have indoor bowling! with all the yada yada machines! i mean... a school with bowling alley? how cool is that? not to mention the principal is the my church member, = unlimited rolls! like.. awesome! hah
after that is sundae 10 dec. church program which im the organiser. bring pple to run around in city hall area and do stupid things again. super tiring, walked up and down till im sick of the place. but quite fun, cuz my grp quite interesting. and they gave up for the last stretch, just went ahead to buy ice cream and stuff... its soo weird to see people knowing that they had to hurry but still insist on testin the ice cream before deciding which one to buy. hah. waste of time...
watched mai hime and its sooo cheat feelings.
****warning spoilers.. don read if u don wan ur anime to be spoiled****
after all the sadness i felt when they died, they came back to life at the last episode. like wah... feeling cheated... tho it still turned out well, but if they remained dead, it would surely be the top few that i watched for being the most emotionally intense... i mean, like 50% of the people died!
ok thats all, mondae madness is coming, and i hope its the last of it.

work is pathetic. With nothing to do, im just attempting to self entertain myself. which prove to be apitas since firstly, the computing is slow to the core. which means no games other than text base games like utopia and such. but come on, how many times can u log into tat in an hour? it gets boring seeing the throne screen umpteen times without seeing any significant change. Hmm well, theres always archmage. but with 5 mins a turn.. its pointless to login once every 5 min to spend 1 turn. which the max u can do is click 4 links before all ur turn is gone. which isent much.
Secondly, the comp has no sound system. which makes watching youtube or crunchyroll totally not enjoyable. how can u watch shows without the bam bam or anime without their funny japanese speaking accent [tho i probably wont understand a single word of wat they say]... but yar. no sound. no fun. not even remotely close to being time wasting.
so im back to surfing the net, looking around for stuffs. but there isent much to look.. ya even tho im doing my research on nds, but how many times can u access the forums before u start to memorise the dimension of the device. and get to know the names of the developer behind those homebrew programs like moonshell, DSlinux and Ds Organiser?
Gamespot had lost it appeal to me too. PS2 games are just dying and PC games lack the usual innovative fun. Nothing is appealing to me for now. Heck, the newest hot game is NWN2 which happen to be DnD style game. And my goodness, they are using some 8. somethingish version of the boardgame. Argh.. whats wrong with people, why would i use the computer to play a game that depend on random dice rolls? It just all wrong.
Gamefaq has nothing for me to read since i sorta stop my FFXII gaming rampage. Wanted to break the first demon wall before i proceed on further into the game, but heck, its just beyond me. so im stuck with training my characters tediously. so im back to watching anime at home now.
And reading manga online has gotten pretty boring too. The net is slow and the browser lags. Ya apparently firefox can eat pretty much resource on a rubbish computer. But heck, the comp run out of memory by just opening 5 excel documents, so im not surprise that im unable to open like 2 or 3 firefox windows just so that i can read on one and let the other load.
Life is APITAS.
Maybe i shuld plug in my hearphones into the comp and just watch anime anyway... looking forward to the dinner tonight tho. gathering with friends as a civilian is pretty awesome.
