whoo hoo, bak from pulau ubin with the church YA pple.

very, extremely tiring dae.

met at tampines at 9 to meet up then we proceed to changi jetty to take the boat to the island. hooked up with our 2 friendly facilitator, and we are off to explo-station. which is basically a 'treasure' hunt around the island.

started off with simple ice breakers, then we broke up into 2 grps and basically, solve clues to get to our check point, and perform task there. total got 8, so the grp tat complete the most will win.

entire journey is long, circuitious and labyrinthed. not to mention the frequent energy draining up slope and the oh-so-shiok downslopes tat the place had to offer. its bikers hell and heaven rolled over in one.

lunch was shockingly surprising. we were told to cook our own food! i mean, after a hard long journey to the end of the island and back to town, we expected something better.... or at least some place with tables and chairs where we can chill and eat... but nooooo. we were handed out 1 mastin, 1 fork, 1 spoon, 12 packs of maggie, 1 can luncheon 1 can of logan. and off we go to some hut to cook army style..
but not too bad la, just tat the noodles too salty...

after a loooong lunch, we continue our journey, goin to different places to see the island. some of the scenic place include the secret garden, the bridge [cant remember the name], the mum mum beach and the small hill overlooking the lake. and of cuz the town with all the old attap houses. in the end we won by luck, cuz the other grp lost a checkpoint tag. sooo... we drawed, then enter tie-breaker round which happens to be sudoko and our grp had a pro in it! hah. so we won! yay. got new keychain jsut wat i needed since my old one spoiled... :(

dinner was the best. after the hard dae of riding, we were offered this nice place of good food. had sweet n sour pork, some vege, some fish, claypot beancurd, and chilli oyster! i love the chilli.

but i shall complain abt the tasks. most were lame and stupid. consists of crossword puzzles , cross number puzzles tat makes no sense, and some decipher thingy which all the letters were represented by some pic [ which i got a feelin its done by using ms word where they type out the msg then change the font to symbols or something...] so basically, the task feel quite cheap skate... like no interesting stuff... onli some are a bit more interesting...

but its all been pretty fun and all.. love the place, the surroundings, the tranquility.. its good to get awae from city for a while..

maybe someone wanna go with me somedae? haha
