I think everyone do come into the stage in their life where they question ultimately, what is the purpose do they have in their life.

Some want to be rich and wealthy. Some want to do good for others. Others just simply want to enjoy and live life to the fullest. However, the question is still the same for everyone. What is the purpose in your life?

Before answering that, perhaps is important to find, who decide the purpose in your life? Do you decide the purpose in your life? Or maybe its your parents? Silbings? Peers? Or maybe the society that you are in?

Knowing who sets your purpose in your life, is important. Without knowing that, you are just blindly catching air in vacuum.

But i guess, that are many reasons for people setting various purpose in their lives. Be it childhood dreams, coercive parents, societial norms or even desperate situations in your life, everyone have a different learning experience and that results in a different outlook in life and ulitmately, the perceived purpose in life.

However, other than life, the 70 short years that you will be spending now, it will be more important to think about your afterlife. Afterall, that is going to be the eventual outcome of your life, there is simply no point in ignoring it. You may think that there is no such thing as after life, and such, there is obviously no point in thinking about it. However, perhaps take some time out of your busy schedule and just ponder upon this question.. Where will you be after you die? No seriously.. Im not kidding..

Maybe ask yourselves the following 2 questions.

1) Do you believe in the existence of heaven?
2) If yes, what must you do to get there?
3) If no, where will you go after you die? (Reincarnation?)

Just as when you DIY a computer, the purpose of the computer is the ultimate use of it, which sets the paremeters in the components. So in life, what is your ultimate destination? That will specify your purpose. Remember man came to earth in nothingness and will leave likewise. Rather than asking what value you derived from your actions, try asking, what eternal consequences do you reap?
