Well, i just been to True Jesus Church not too long ago. Its not my first time there. Been there pretty often.

And their topic was on Baptizm. And of course of the importance of baptizm and once angain how it is such an important citeria to enter heaven. If you do not do it, you won't be save.

And they would bring about all the verses that support them. Like John 3:16, they would pin point on the word 'believe' and once again remind you that its about believing in everything thats stated in the bible and not just believing that Jesus died for you.

Of course, everything sounds correct. Sure, doctrinally, nothing is wrong. But somehow, I feel pretty sad. Somehow, Christianity to them have become a religion. Where rites, or sacrements must be fulfilled. No doubt doing all this things are important. Im not denying their importance, but im asking, why are they doing all this things? Cause the church leaders tell them to do it? Or they just want to feel in line with everyone else?

Really, is it more important to be right or to have a relationship? The reasons that you baptize, is it out of response of love for Him? I guess christians of different denomination should stop nitpicking and biting each other at controversial issues but instead, start dealing with the larger ones. Like, how much do you really, really love God.
