In the book of Job

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil. - Job 1:1

Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes. - Job 42:6

These 2 verses really strike me alot. At the beginning, Job was blameless. Upright. And he feared God and shunned evil. However, at the end of the book, he actually repented!

For those who do not know the story of Job, he was a man full of richness, but everything was taken away from him by the devil.

So what implication does this have? This Job, is like a beaker of water. With sand sediments at the bottom. From the surface, yes, he is clear, he is blameless. However, in every man, there is this sediment of sin. And all it takes. Is just a bump. A bump to the beaker. And the sand will mix with the water and the water will become muddy. Chalky. Cloudy.

So God does bump people. Even more to those people who think that they are righteous. Then those sediments of sins can be found. And only then can those sins be confessed and taken out. Thus, let everyone:

Abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes. - Job 42:6
