Some benefits of wearin AJC t shirt:
Situation 1: You got on a bus and you just realised that your EZ Link card has no more value and you are unable to take the ride. What would you do? Throw in 55 cents into the coin machine and buy your bus ticket at student rate.
Situation 2: You are feeling hungry and you decided to eat Macs for breakfast. You walk in and you ordered your favourite sausage mac muffin with egg meal. When ask for payment, instead of the usual $5.40 its now at a whooping discount of $4. What the heck just happened? Did macdonald's just decided to go all charity? Nah, you have just gotten yourself a student meal.
That aside, went for a job interview under starhub. The working hours are good for me, so i decided to give it a try. The place was crappy ulu, only one bus access there. There were 7 or 8 candidates all trying out for the job which was rumoured to be having 10 spaces. The interview was not really an interview at all. They din't ask question like 'What is your strongest point' and 'Why would i employ you and not the person that's going to come in next.' kind of question. More like 'Oh your will be doing this and this, and that and that, IF you got the job.' And it was all over. In under 5 mins. And all canditate failed this 'interview'. Waste of time.
And i had to explain the same stroy 4 times over to 4 different people on the phone. And another time to a person personally. And repeating the same story over again wasn't really fun. It leaves me tired.
Feel like an old prune after 60 minutes of floor ball in VJC today. Got totally floored by the real old folks. But damn them, they had P.E. teachers on their side. All in all we won 2 games out of 6, with me scoring 1 out of 4 goals and receving the reward of able to go home earlier than the unlucky top 4 groups who had to stay for another 2 games. Woe to them. Had chocolate/orange prata as VJC sponsor prata for all. Sounds like stomachache to me. But so far so good. No dumping made yet.
Things really do get shitty. But somehow, with a little thing call 'communication', things would be clearer and easier to set upright.
